In the wee hours of the morning on May 5, 2020, in a dream, I watched as an army officer spoke to some new army recruits, telling them what he expected of them in the army.
In a next scene within the same dream, I was at home with my family when I suddenly grabbed a machete and went into fierce battle with two enemies who had suddenly barged into our home with the intent to harm us. My husband then walked into the room and asked me what was happening. I immediately said to him, “We are at war!”
In a third scene, I was standing on the street with my family when I said to them, “It is important for each of us to make sure that our hearts are right with God in case we don’t survive this war.” I then broke down in tears and sobbed uncontrollably as I grabbed my daughter’s hand and said, “It would kill me if I learn that any one of you did not make it into heaven and that your soul is lost forever!” My daughter’s response to this was to bow her head as if in prayer.
I woke up right after this and spent the next hour praying and travailing in the spirit on behalf of my extended family that all will be saved, that all will invite Jesus into their hearts, that all will love Him, worship him, and serve Him with all their hearts, all their souls, all their minds, all their strength, and with every fiber of their beings. I prayed for God’s protection upon each of us as we journey through this very perilous time.
This war, I believe, began only 20 days later with the egregious killing of George Floyd, a black man, in the streets of Minneapolis by a white police officer who knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes, totally ignoring his cry that he couldn’t breathe. This rightfully erupted into mass protests across all fifty states within the US, as well as in many other countries.
US citizens are demanding justice for this brutal and unnecessary slaying of George Floyd and an end to police brutality of black people. They are not satisfied that the officers involved have been charged with the crime and are behind bars. They are demanding change to the police system, a complete reform, some even calling for the abolishing of the police altogether.
The waves of unrest, rioting, lootings, arsons, and other mass destruction of property across the US from many of the protestors and the subsequent takeover of the six or seven blocks in Seattle by members of Antifa and Black Lives Matter, I am afraid, will lead to a civil war. This ongoing anarchy across the nation will bring about a revolutionary change, whether good or bad, but before that happens, many more unfortunately will lose their businesses, their freedoms, their livelihoods, their loved ones, and even their own lives.
This out of control racial divide, blacks against whites, especially against white cops and the entire police force is bound to leave a lot of destruction in its wake. How much worse will it get before law and order is restored, and people feel safe once again to go about their daily lives? What will it take to end this war and racial divide within our country? Will it take the president declaring an all-out war against domestic terrorism in this land we love so much?
Only this morning, June 14, 2020, my husband Steve shared with me the following dream which he had during the night. He said, “I dreamt that I was with President Trump and one other person, I don’t know who. All of a sudden Trump started making poses with a gun as if he was going to shoot someone. I eventually determined that Trump was practicing using the gun to defend himself or the country. Then I woke up. After a few minutes it occurred to me that this dream may have been a prophecy of civil war.”
Over the last several years I have had numerous dreams of war within this country and have shared these dreams in great detail in my book, The Joys of Heaven, Part 1: Faith for Change in America, as well as in numerous blogs. I won’t go into detail here but please feel free to read about it in the following blog posts: “Visions of Hope Amidst Dark Clouds Hanging Over America”; “Beware Antifa-led Revolution in the USA!”; “What can we expect in the year 2020?”; and “July 24, 2020—The End Of The World As We Know It.” I believe that war at this point is inevitable, and that it will bring about the end of the world as we know it!
Whether we like it or not, we are at war! The most that we can do as individuals is to pray for one another and for a swift and peaceful end to this war. Let’s encourage one another and help each other as we wait patiently for the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
