Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. (Psalm 50:15 NKJV)

I called upon Jesus from the depths of my soul, with tears streaming down my face. He turned and looked down upon me with great love and compassion.  While I was still telling Him about all my struggles, He answered my prayer and He met every single one of my needs.  He delivered me from all harm and danger and sheltered me during all the storms of life.  He bestowed upon me more blessings than I can possibly count so filling my soul with joy and my heart with great gladness.  He looked beyond my many faults, saw my needs, picked me up, cleaned me off and made something beautiful of my life.  He put sweet melody in my heart and now I am singing, rejoicing and praising my Redeemer all the day long.  He renewed my mind and gave me hope and a future.  He gave me a new zeal on life and placed a passion deep within my heart.  He gave me strength and vigor and new meaning to my life.  He gave me a purpose for living and equipped me to fulfill that purpose.  He lives in me.  He walks beside me.  He surrounds me.  He inspires me and leads me to new heights in Him.  He guides me along life’s pathway and causes me to sing even when the journey gets rough.

He speaks to me and He comforts me. He tells me that He loves me and that His love has no end.  He tells me that He will always be with me and that He will guide me continually.  He promised me that He will not withhold anything good from me if I will live a Godly life and bring glory to His name.  He told me that His mercy is unending and that His grace is sufficient to keep me.  He promised that He will bless me and that in return, I will glorify Him.  He promised that His goodness and His mercy will follow me all the days of my life and that I will dwell with Him forever.  He gave me everlasting life from the moment I invited Him to inhabit my soul and be Lord and Master of my life.   What an awesome and amazing God we serve!  How great and wonderful is He!  I gave Him full control of my life and now He holds me in the palm of His hand and will never let me go.  Thank you, Lord Jesus!  I feel safe in your hands.

Jesus gives me strength to fight each battle. He stays with me throughout each trial and temptation and He helps me to gain the victory again and again!  He told me that He has great plans to prosper me and not to harm me.  He told me that if I seek Him with my whole heart that I will find Him.  He promised to answer me even before I call and that while I am still praying He will hear and grant my requests.  He told me, “I love you my precious child and nothing can ever separate you from my love.  You belong to me. You are mine.”  He told me that He died so that I might live and that because He rose from the dead, this body of mine will someday change from mortal to immortality and that I shall live and reign with Him throughout all eternity.

I can hear the voice of Jesus calling out to me, inviting me to come up higher into a more intimate relationship with Him. He calls me friend and He shows me future events concerning my life.  He told me that He is the bread of life and that if I eat his flesh and drink His blood I will have eternal life and He will raise me up at the last day.  By faith, I ate and drank deeply of Him and now I have a well of water inside of me that is continually springing up into everlasting life.  It is like a fountain that can never run dry.  I feel so alive, so vibrant, so happy, so joyful, so fulfilled, so blessed, so free and so content in Jesus!  Jesus in me makes all the difference in my life.  He fills my soul with joy and gladness.  He gives me peace despite the storms raging around me.  He took away all my fears and replaces them with love, courage and a strong mind.  He fills my mouth with words of praise and adoration.  He lifted me up and placed me high upon a rock and I cannot be moved.  Jesus is my Rock, my Shield and my Refuge.  He shelters me in times of trouble.  He gives me strength to overcome mountains of trials and to ride on the stormy seas of life.  I am strong because He walks beside me.  Jesus is my strength.

I thank Jesus for the good days, for the bad days and for sticking with me through them all. My many problems taught me how much faith in God can accomplish.  Through all these problems, Jesus got my attention and became my main focus as I learn to lean and depend on him to keep me, to guide me, and to deliver me.  Jesus has turned for good every single one of those bad situations that I have been through.  Through it all, the light and glory of Jesus shines brighter and brighter.  Each victory won increases my faith, gives me new strength and prepares me for the next battle.  Each time I overcome a problem, Jesus seems so much closer to me, His glory shines brighter and I see Him more clearly.  Jesus is my dearest friend and closer to me than any member of my family or friend could ever be.  He is always with me and He hears me when I call.  I can feel His breath upon my face and I can feel the warmth of His presence surrounding me and in me.  I love Jesus with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, with all my strength, and with all my being.  I love Jesus with everything that is within me, and with every breath that I take I will give Him praise.
