It’s been seven and a half years now since my first encounter with Jesus in a dream. I was walking along a road when I looked up to see Jesus standing in the clouds, big and tall and majestic. At first, I saw only His feet, a gigantic nail protruding from the top of each foot. Then, very slowly, the clouds rolled away to reveal Jesus standing there looking straight down at me. At the sight of Him I bowed my knees before Him, right there on the side of the road, lifted my hands in the air and shouted over and over again, “Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!”
When I woke up the next morning, I opened up my Bible and these words jumped out at me, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV). Was this scripture the next morning a mere coincidence or was this commission directly for me?
Jesus’ many appearances to me in dreams over the next several years made it abundantly clear that God was indeed speaking directly to me. He has called me and has anointed me to be a witness for him, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in all the world and to win souls for the kingdom of God. No, I am not an ordained minister and no, I am not a pastor either but that doesn’t matter. I have been taught by God who made the whole Bible, and especially what He did for us upon the cross, come alive to me. He will do the work through me.
I can’t help but speak of my many encounters with Jesus through dreams. I can’t deny the many priceless moments that I have spent in His presence. I can’t deny the love or the joy I felt each time He held me in his warm embrace. I can’t deny seeing Him as He was when He walked upon this earth and neither can I deny the love mingled with pain and agony that I saw in His eyes as I stood spellbound and gazed upon Him as He hung there upon the cross. This is a scene that I could never ever forget, one that I will cherish always. I have a hope of eternal life today because of what Jesus did upon the cross two thousand years ago. He sacrificed His life to pay the penalty for your sins and mine so that we may go free. Three days later, God raised Him from the dead. Now He is alive for evermore!
I can testify to the risen Jesus, not only because of His disciples’ written accounts of Him in the Bible, but also because of revelations from Jesus Christ Himself through many dreams! I have seen the risen King Jesus, larger than life, standing in the clouds, a gigantic nail protruding from the top of each foot! And…I have seen His nail-pierced hands all aglow and shining with the light of His glory!
I cannot deny the pull that I feel towards our Lord each day! It is like a magnet that draws me continually into His presence and opens up my spiritual eyes so allowing me the joy of gazing upon Him with awe, wonder, and adoration!
In one dream, as Jesus appeared to me, he said, “It is a great thing for your Lord to appear to you!” As I spoke to Him of a dream in which He appeared to me two years earlier in each of two consecutive nights, He said to me, “I gave you power to do all these things!” God has called me into His service to which I gladly and wholeheartedly said, “Yes, Lord, Yes! I will go anywhere you lead me and do anything you lead me to do. If you lead me, this ministry will be a lot more successful.” He’s been leading me ever since!
You may never see me preaching from a pulpit or on the street corner but Jesus has empowered me to share the good news of the gospel though the publication of books, three so far, as well as through the many blog posts that I have written. In one dream, Jesus said to me, “I have placed some books inside of you. You will need to vomit them up!”
My life has not been the same since the first of these many encounters with Jesus. There is no turning back for me! He consumes me all the day long, every day! I know that many do not believe me when I say this. I see the silent looks of disbelief on their faces when I tell them of my daily devotion to Jesus. They think that I am exaggerating but God knows that I speak the truth. I wake up with Jesus on my mind. Thoughts of Him flow through my mind all the day long. I stay in constant communication with Him throughout each day and I often see Him in my dreams at night. My life was forever changed when I saw Him standing in the clouds! He is all I live for! He fills me to overflowing! Looking back, I realize how truly empty my life was before God became the central focus of my daily life.
Jesus has raised up an army of believers who are not afraid or ashamed of proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, the power of God unto salvation to all those who believe. He has raised up people who will not compromise the Word of God. People who are not afraid to speak it like it is. People who are more concerned about the saving of souls than they are about how others perceive them. People who are willing to go the extra mile, whatever it takes, to tell sinners that Jesus loves them and that it is not His will that any one of them should perish but that all should come to repentance so that they too may inherit eternal life.
The time is short. Jesus’ return is imminent and many are not prepared for His return. In just one more year, on July 24, 2020, this world as we know it will cease to exist! There is a revolutionary change coming and I want to make sure you are ready for it. There is nothing you can do to stop it or change it! The only thing you can do is prepare yourself and your loved ones for it. You will need to prepare yourself mentally, emotionally and spiritually for this change. You need to draw closer to Jesus. If you don’t know Him, then now is the time to seek Him while there is still time. You may not still be here once this change takes place. Seek God now while there is still life in your body. This is urgent! There is no more time to delay. There is danger and even death in delaying. Jesus came that you may have abundant life both here on earth and in Heaven. He shed his blood to wash away your sins and to grant you eternal life but you will need to receive it by faith. Confess your sins to Jesus and you will be saved. Repent and turn to God now so you may inherit eternal life.
