For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16 NKJV).
The sight of Jesus stretched out upon the cross in my vision on the night of 8/7/16 is one that I will never forget. Seeing Him like that, so bruised and so sorrowful, drew me for a closer look. I will never forget the way He looked at me as He hung there, despised and forsaken, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. I am forever reminded of how great a sacrifice He made in dying upon the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world. “…He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV).
In His body, Jesus bore all our sins, our pains, our sorrows, our griefs, our sicknesses and our diseases and nailed them all to the cross so that we may go free. I will never forget this vision of Him upon the cross or the love that brought Him there. Oh the power of the love that moved our dear Lord to freely suffer in our place, the just for the unjust, to completely liberate us from the bondages of sin, to free us from all the curses of the law and to grant us eternal life!
At the last Passover that Jesus celebrated with His disciples, “He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you” (Luke 22:19-20 NKJV). Peter, one of His disciples, later witnessed, “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24 NKJV). Through His atoning blood upon the cross, Jesus made provision for the healing of our complete being—body, mind, soul and spirit, and to reconcile us unto Himself.
This message of the cross is one of great hope and has a life changing effect on everyone who believes. It gives us a new life in Christ, new hope for the future, and a hope of eternal life with Jesus in heaven. No matter how deeply embedded in sin we were, if we confess our sins to Jesus, He will forgive us and cleanse us through the power of His blood which He poured out upon the cross for all of mankind. He promised that He will not turn away anyone who comes to Him. “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out” (John 6:37 NKJV).
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Light. No one can know God the Father except through Jesus the Son. Jesus taught, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep” (John 10:9-11 NKJV).
In another dream that same night of 8/7/16, Jesus told me that He is coming soon and impressed upon me my duty to share this knowledge with others in order to help them prepare for His return. Are you ready to meet Him? Have you received this good news of salvation, this great message of hope? Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ His Son. We were all born in sin and unless we repent of and turn away from our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will perish for all eternity. Jesus died so that you may have abundant life and live eternally. If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and confess that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
I am inviting you to secure your eternal home in heaven and flee death and destruction. Turn to the way of the cross and live. There is life for all those who will look to the cross. “For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:9-13 NLT).
Each new dawn brings us closer to the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ and our eternal home in heaven. We are so close now that I can almost hear the sound of the trumpet blast. I can almost see Jesus as He prepares to descend at lightning speed from heaven at the shout of the Arc-angel to meet the saints in the air. There is great excitement in the air! I can feel it in my bones! Jesus is coming soon! Could this be the day that the church will be caught up to meet Him in the air? No one knows the exact day or the hour so be prepared at all times. It will happen when you least expect it. One moment you are here and the very next moment you could be meeting Jesus face to face in clouds of glory, that is, if you are ready and waiting to meet Him! Are you ready to meet Jesus?
If you feel the Holy Spirit tugging at your heart do not resist Him. Instead just yield to Him and allow Him to transform your life. If you have never made Jesus your Lord and Savior, please pray this prayer with me:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that without you, I would be lost for all eternity. I now confess all my sins to you and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart and make me a new creation in you. Please grant me the gift of the Holy Spirit to seal my adoption as a child of God and to secure my place with you for all eternity. Please help me to completely turn away from sin and live my new life in you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”
Jesus promised that he will not turn away anyone who comes to Him but that He will forgive Him of all His sins and grant him eternal life. If you prayed this prayer today from a truly repentant heart, I want you to know that your sins have been forgiven and you are now a child of God, a brand new creation, without spots or wrinkles, washed pure and clean in the blood of Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God. Please find and attend regularly a local Bible believing church to learn more about your new life in Christ and to fellowship with other believers so that you may grow together in Christ.
