Could the recent fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban regime and the ensuing ISIS bombing at the airport in Kabul be the precursor to, or the fulfillment of, a dream I had several years ago? Could this explosive situation develop into full-blown war between ISIS and the US? Could this spread as far as the American soil? With the multitude of weapons left behind in Afghanistan in the hasty withdrawal of the US Troops from the region, it would appear that we have, unfortunately, equipped them for war against us.
Six years ago, on October 17, 2015, I had a dream in which I saw our beloved country, the United States of America, under siege by a large army of men dressed from head to toe in black and carrying big, long, black guns, much like the ones the US troops left behind in Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover and which have since become the property of the Taliban.
These men looked exactly like the ISIS terrorists! They were wearing black masks over their faces and only their eyes were visible. When I first saw them, they were wading from the ocean in knee-high water. They suddenly appeared without warning and before we knew it, they were upon us! We ran and tried to hide ourselves behind trees, in trenches, in bushes, and in the grass; but these enemies were everywhere making it impossible to hide!
They very quickly overpowered us and took control, rounding many of us up in a very large building. These maniacs were merciless and had no compassion whatsoever. Children and individuals with disabilities were regarded without any mercy. In the mad rush of the crowd to get away from these people, I got separated from my husband and daughter. I started to look for them in the crowd but woke out of this dream before I could find them. (See page 20 of “The Joys of Heaven, Part 1, Faith For Change in America”, published in July 2017).
This dream is pretty much what happened in Afghanistan with the Taliban takeover over the last few days. Before the US could fully withdrew all our troops, the Taliban quickly overthrew the Afghan government and completely took over the country. They brandished many weapons of war belonging to the United States, put up several roadblocks and barricades and seized the American Embassy. In just a few days, they managed to completely erase all the work that the US and our allies had done in Afghanistan over the past two decades!
The Afghan Army that the US spent lots of time and resources in training and equipping for battle apparently did not put up any resistance at all! They completely surrendered to the Taliban, much like in my dream, while the president of Afghanistan fled the country leaving the citizens to the mercy of this vicious regime that does not value the lives of women and girls but treats them as though they are less than human and with great cruelty. Now, tens of thousands of Afghani citizens and American citizens in Afghanistan alike are afraid for their lives, each trying desperately to get out of the country, many hiding for fear of what the Taliban could do to them.
From all appearances, the US seems to be bowing to the Taliban and has appeared weak in the face of the ISIS attack that killed 13 American troops and close to two hundred Afghans. As the whole world is painfully aware, ISIS, which America and its Allies have spent the last 20 years fighting to eradicate, has once again reared its ugly head and has made no secret of the fact that they are thirsty for American blood as well as that of the Afghani people!
Are you familiar with the term, “Peacetime War?” I heard it for the first time in my dream on November 21, 2017. In this dream, a group of men were driving everyone in our neighborhood out of our homes. This was a very frightening experience. I knew instinctively that what was happening to us was also happening all around the world and not just in our neighborhood. Someone standing nearby confirmed that this was true. Another person said to me, “This is a Peacetime War.”
When I looked up “Peacetime War”, it seemed to refer to crimes of terrorism in a country during a time the country is not at war. This is the reality of the people of Afghanistan right now according to the news network. The Taliban, and possibly ISIS and other terrorist groups in Afghanistan are going from door to door, bringing great horrors to its citizens.
This is a nightmare that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy let alone innocent citizens. My heart goes out especially to the women and girls in Afghanistan. I can’t even begin to imagine how frightening it must be for a mother to watch helplessly while her 12 year-old daughter is ripped out of her arms and forced into marriage with those savages or how horrific it must be for these poor defenseless and innocent girls! What a terrible life sentence for any child to endure!
This dream of mine and the quickly deteriorating situation in Afghanistan make me wonder about our preparedness in the event of another attack on the US by ISIS or some other terrorist group or from another country. The United States of America prides itself on being the super power of the world in terms of its weapons of war and its military capabilities, but how powerful can we be if we are so quickly overpowered by ISIS or the Taliban?
The US is only as strong as our Commander-in-Chief who, right now, does not appear to be up to the task of protecting our citizens. If our enemies think we are weak or if our Commander-in-Chief takes too long to give orders to our troops, that would leave us open and vulnerable to another attack from ISIS, one that could be far more devastating than 9/11. In a dream on November 24, 2017, I witnessed a live combat between two large groups of people right here on American soil. Each group was shooting at the other and I was worried that the bullets might hit me. Miraculously, I managed to go by without being hit.
The leaders of this United States of America need to be strong and speak from a position of strength. In the event that the US should again be attacked by ISIS, or some other terrorist group or country, I pray that our Commander-in-Chief and the US military will stop at nothing to protect the American citizens, residents, visitors in our country, and our freedom.
I thank my God that regardless of whether we explode into a war or not, King Jesus is still in control and will always defend and protect His people. Put your trust in Him now, and in times of trouble He will not abandon you!
